Clock Records |
This function is used to display the details of Time and Attendance transactions. There are three tabs: |
Depending on the tab, filters are available to limit report output to a specific Device ID, Division, Customer, Location, Employee, and Date range.
Important Note
Punch transaction times in clock records reflect the time setting on the data collection device(s). These devices may lose minutes over time and should be refreshed periodically by the Company Administrator using the function in the Global – Polling Settings menu.
Transactions are paired punches where every "in" punch has a corresponding "out" punch. Transactions may be filtered by Division, Customer, Location and Employee, selected from the related drop-down boxes.
The default Date from is the current date starting at 00:00.
The default Date to is the ”current date + 1”.
To change the date, click to display a calendar with which to make your selection. Click to go back one month Click to go back three months Click to go forward one month Click to go forward three months |

Note Transactions are stored in the Vision database. If the date range specified for the transactions occurred in a week that is archived in Vision, they are not available to Val Link and are not displayable. |
Click after making your filter selections. The system will display the paired transactions for the selected date range.
|
This tab displays employee punches and the shift-related activity associated with them, for the specified Division, Customer, Location, Employee, Device, and Date/Time range. Parameters for date range are as described previously for the Transactions tab, except that Clock records are stored in Val Link (not Vision) and are available for any date range. After making your selections, click to display related clock records. Web Clock Note Clock Records displays the IP address of the Web Clock from which the punch originated. Note that the “wc” prefix to the IP address identifies the source of the punch as a Web Clock. |
|
The data is color coded to reflect the Punch Action of each employee: Note Additional Punch Actions may be available, depending on the Company Administrator’s Punch Action Configuration settings and the enabling of Work Code Mode in Device Management. |
